Ballard Advances to KingCo Tournament

For the first time since Ballard High School moved to the KingCo 4A conference 15 years ago, the Ballard Beavers hold home court advantage for the KingCo 4A boy’s basketball tournament.

The opening game of the tournament will take place on Tuesday (2/8)at 7:30p.m, at Ballard High School against Eastlake. The Beavers are coached by Billy Rogers and assistant Marcus Chin and are led by senior Salim Gloyd who was recently nominated as a McDonald?s All American.  Ballard ended up in second place in the Kingco 4A Crown division with a league record of 10-5.

Also on the Ballard team are Brad Baker, Jordan Gould, Domici Thrash, Luke Beutjer and Stuart MacGeorge who all grew up playing basketball at the Magnolia Community Center.
