Magnolia Voice recently sat down with one of Serendipity’s co-owners, Jen to talk about their latest venture. The new bar is attached to their popular restaurant, and features cozy banquettes set against deep grey walls, local art and sparkling lighting. It is a great place for catching up with friends over cocktails, or watching a game on one of several televisions. When asked about their vision for the lounge, Jen said that she and her partners wanted patrons to be comfortable in the space and feel like they could stay as long as they want. They were aiming for a neighborhood gathering spot- kind of an adult version of Serendipity, where guests can hang out, and enjoy great food and drinks.

As Magnolia residents, Jen says she and her co-owners “hope to add to the already thriving nightlife in the heart of Magnolia, and encourage?people to stay and have fun right here, in and around our neighborhood-because the more people who shop, eat and drink in the village, the more money goes back to our community.”

Washington wines on tapshopth

Serendipity’s bar has four cask wines- currently all from Walla Walla, and their draft beers are?from Washington state breweries. There is?a daily happy hour (7 days a week) from 4-6pm, and?they have a private dining room for parties up to 15.
