Windy night blows out power

The morning after an autumnal storm blows through finds the neighborhood in good shape over all. Although a major part of Magnolia was without power for a spell, the lights are back on (we assume) and the landscape held up against the fury of the weather. Even most of the political signs harkening the silly season are still rooted in place.

Magnolia Voice was able to locate only two trees that didn?t fair well. One at the corner of 32nd & Barrett toppled over completely blocking the entire street last night. By this morning crews had sawn the limbs covering the roadway leaving only the trunk, down but out of the way.
The other arboreal disaster was in front of the Magnolia Animal Hospital in the Village which lost only a large limb that blocked a lane of traffic last night. Again, crews cleaned up the blockage before morning.
If we missed some damage at your place send us word at tips@magnoliavoice.com.
