Friends of Discovery Park will hold its annual meeting from 10 AM until noon on Saturday March 9,?at the Discovery Park Visitor Center.
The meet and greet starts at 9:30 AM with light refreshments.
The meeting will cover the hot topic of “Off-Leash Dog Violations in Discovery Park.”? The Superintendent of Parks (Chris Williams), and the Director of the Animal Shelter (Don Jordan) will be present to address this problem, discuss solutions, and answer questions.?Following the featured topic, a panel of park staff and Metro staff (from the West Point Treatment Plant) will provide an update of park and plant issues followed by a Q&A.
