Magnolia Voice recently sat down with one of Serendipity’s co-owners, Jen to talk about their latest venture. The new bar is attached to their popular restaurant, and features cozy banquettes set against deep grey walls, local art and sparkling lighting. It is a great place for catching up with friends over cocktails, or watching a game on one of several televisions. When asked about their vision for the lounge, Jen said that she and her partners wanted patrons to be comfortable in the space and feel like they could stay as long as they want. They were aiming for a neighborhood gathering spot- kind of an adult version of Serendipity, where guests can hang out, and enjoy great food and drinks.

If only they would improve on their espresso-making skills we’d certainly go there more often. It’s not too bad but very inconsistent (and the Vita beans they use is actually very good).
Can’t wait to visit – sounds great!
Great ambiance and great food! ?And nice to be able to enjoy while the little kids play “next door”. ?Way to go, Jen & Nanette! ?
I like this place because it’s not a pub and it’s clean.
