Magnolia a front runner in bank’s contest

Magnolia is one of the front runners in Umpqua Bank’s “I Heart” campaign.

The bank’s campaign, is going on in several Seattle neighborhoods, and in Bellevue, where Umpqua has opened branches. Neighbors were asked to vote for their favorite store. The bank will distribute $15,000 among the 10 businesses Seattle and Bellevue “heart” most. Additionally, Umpqua will give $10,000 to the three neighborhoods with the most votes. The money may be used toward a community project identified by Umpqua and the local neighborhood association.

Voting ends on Dec. 15. You can vote by uploading a love letter and/or photo to www.facebook.com/umpquabank, texting the name of your favorite participating neighborhood and local business to 99158 or dropping a vote at the Magnolia Umpqua Bank store.

  1. If Magnolia wins everyone should give George at Nikos ample credit for working so hard on this campaign. Gotta love that family and their friendly commitment to our community.
