Though banks and government offices are closed today, local shops are open and hosting sales. Parks and beaches are open, too. Today will be sunny with a high of 79 degrees. Magnolia Beach, the Lighthouse, Kinnear Park and Discovery Park are definitely picnic and hangout hot spots today.
If you want to venture up the western shore of Lake Union, be sure to check out the magnificent?Lake Union Park where kids can splash in the water, adults can watch seaplanes take off and families can check out the historic boats moored nearby.
Where is this Magnolia Beach you speak of? I have never heard anything referred to as Magnolia Beach. Ballard Beach is a place that my family used to play before it was taken over by houses near Ray’s Boathouse on Salmon Bay.?

You can’t go there unless you get a parking pass, and you can only get it if you have kids under the age of 6 or elderly people with you. ?There are 6 spots in the lot at the “beach”.

You can get there by walking or biking.? But yes, the only parking is reserved for disabled.? Priscilla, it would appear they are talking about the beach around the West Point Lighthouse.
