This weeks featured pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter is Tipper, a sweet dog who needs a forever home, Tipper is always happy and she is friendly to everyone she meets ? humans, dogs and cats. She is also calm, gentle, easy to handle and cooperative.
This border collie mix is around ten years old, but she’s got plenty of spunk and get-up-and-go. In fact, she does a cute happy dance when her foster mom and dad come home from work. Her welcome home dance and wagging tail will warm anyone’s heart.
Tipper is housetrained and will sleep through your work day, leaving shoes, couches and books untouched. She likes to shake hands with anyone who wants to be properly introduced to her. She also knows sit and down. She loves to curl up near her humans after walks. Speaking of walks, Tipper really digs her walks but doesn’t require hours-long hikes to make her happy.
If you would like to meet Tipper ? she?d love to meet you ? download a Dog Adoption Application and send your completed application to the Shelter?s Adoption Review team at adoptionreview@gmail.com or fax it to 206-386-4285. You can also pick up/drop off the application at the Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061-15th Ave. West.

Tipper has been adopted! We are so happy for her and her new family.?
The group without pets exhibited no statistically significant changes in
health or behaviour. The results provide evidence that pet acquisition
may have positive effects on human health and behaviour, and that for
dog owners these effects are relatively long term
