Producer Lacee Kloze gave Magnolia Voice a tour of the movie set in-production at Magnolia’s Bookstore this morning.

Director Sam Graydon, actors and technicians were all busy attending to their respective jobs shooting a 12-minute short entitled Pretty Face and Green My Eyes.

Seattle actors Rich Morris, Kat Ogden, and Lisa LeVan were on location as were many Magnolia residents who volunteered as extras in the movie.

Shooting is expected to last 7PM with scenes in the bookstore covering one third of the film. Editing for the movie will take two months to complete.

On a tight budget, the movie is taping while the store is still in operation so customers need to squeeze by the lights and cameras. It’s quite a show for such a small space. Kloze expressed her gratitude to Georgiana Blomberg of Magnolia’s Bookstore and the Magnolia community for their help and cooperation.

Your best chance to see the movie will be at the Seattle International Film Festival next year.
