Sculpture unveiled Sunday

The Magnolia Historical Society will hold a ceremony on Sunday (4/10) to  show off the finished stonework sculpture depicting Magnolia?s early days.  The event will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Church in the social center at 3218 West Barrett from 2-4p.m.   This is part of the Historical Society?s 10th anniversary celebration.

Magnolia sculptor John Leglar has produced the stonework that will be a permanent display in the Magnolia Village.

It includes such familiar sights as the West Point Lighthouse, Magnolia?s first landmark and the Magnolia Bridge.

The sculpture will be installed in The Village outside the Windermere building later this spring.
