UPDATE 3/11: SDOT tells us the work announced previously for the north end of the Ballard Bridge and on Aurora this Saturday, March 12 has been canceled due to an unfavorable weather forecast.
Traffic may be a little slow on the Ballard Bridge on Saturday (3/12). Seattle Department of Transportation crews will grind down and pave the north and southbound lanes at the north end of the Ballard Bridge. Lane closures will change throughout the day to accommodate the restoration work and traffic volumes. The work will begin at 7 a.m. and continue through the day until 7 p.m.
The bicyclists did this in order to force us our of our cars and trucks. We can’t they stay on the sidewalk?
No kidding Jeffc, I bet NOW we’ll see the unmitigated traffic nightmare 24/7 I spoke of last year! Stoopid bicyclists! You know all that wear and tear is because of them anyways!
I know, right? I drove over a Clifbar wrapper the other day in my tank, and I swear it was thrown there by a bicylist, just to make me mad.
What a waste of taxpayer money. The Seattle Department of Transportation is wasting money money by paying overtime for this work. Another example of the irresponsible spending at SDOT. Idiots
Exactly. SDOT is spending money on fixing streets, when they should be fixing them for free. That’s what saves money.
I don’t think you get it. They’re wasting a lot of money by how they operate. SDOT should spend more money on fixing roads, everyone can agree. But throwing money our the window is irresponsible.
How are they wasting money by how they operate?

SDOT and the bicyclists caused it to rain, just so they can waste money and force us out of our cars.
