Mothers of injured teens say thanks

The mothers of the Magnolia teens who were trapped in an ice cave collapse at Snoqualmie Pass met with reporters today to say thank you to the rescuers who saved their sons.

Alect Corbett, 17 and Allesandro Gelmini, 14 are Magnolia neighbors who attend Bishop Blanchet High School.? The boys are recovering from their injuries at Harborview Medical Center.? Both had surgery for broken backs over the weekend and Gelmini is undergoing additional surgery today for leg fractures.? Their mothers say both boys are expected to recover from their injuries.

It will be awhile before the boys are back to normal but their mothers are just happy that they are alive and say they are very thankful for the efforts of the rescue crews.? Video of the interview here.
