Open Our Hearts – A Parish Mission at Our Lady of Fatima in Seattle!

A Parish Mission is a series of presentations that are intended to challenge, support and uplift spiritual journeys. It is like being on a retreat, except it is spread out over a series of consecutive days. This Parish Mission will feature Fr. Pete Schavitz, a Redemptorist priest, as the presenter.

Fatima’s mission will be rooted in the richness of their Catholic heritage. Each session will have a different theme, but they all center on one’s personal faith journey. They will gather in our worship space to pray, sing, listen, and receive an invitation to grow.

The mission is for everyone, young and old, for those with many questions and for those with only a few questions, and for those just starting or returning to their faith journey. There will be Liturgy of the Word for Children occurring at the same time as the main sessions. Child care and transportation will be available.

Each session will conclude with a creative social filled with good eats, good drink, and good conversation. We look forward to building the kingdom together.

Transportation and child care will be available each night. For child care, please contact Harry and Pauline Coveny at 206.525.3045 in order to reserve a space. For transportation, please contact Aimee Moore at 425.773.0777 or Bill Ruddick at 206.427.7228.
