Republican precinct caucuses to help select the GOP nominee for President, will be held tomorrow in the 36th legislative district, which includes Magnolia, Ballard, Queen Anne and others. Caucuses will be held Saturday at four Seattle locations for voters who indicate they are Republicans and who will not participate in any other party?s candidate selection process, according to a Washington state GOP official. The caucus site for Magnolia?s 40th precinct is the United Church of Christ, 3555 W. McGraw in Pilgrim Hall. Participants should arrive at 9:30a.m. to check in, with caucuses beginning at 10:00.?Bring photo ID and voters registration. Voters who need a registration card can?get a copy online by going to kingcounty.gov/elections.aspx to print out the information. Caucus participants will be asked for their choice to elect precinct delegates, and to vote in a non-binding straw poll similar to the one in Iowa.
The Washington State Republican Party Convention is May 30 – June 2 in Tacoma.
