  1. It’s great that neighbors will volunteer to paint out the graffiti, but as we all know, the same places get tagged over and over again. ?Are there any organized efforts to catch the taggers or prevent the tagging? I’ve reported graffiti on the city’s web site for years. They usually paint over the graffiti pretty quickly. But that doesn’t stop the taggers from returning. Seems that a volunteer video monitoring program might help.?

The retaining wall on the east side of QA hill, due east of the Magnolia Bridge, gets tagged regularly. And the city paints it out regularly. It would be cheaper to plant trees next to the wall so tags are not visible. Problem solved. Ditto for the wall and fence at W. Dravus and W. 17th at Keller Supply and a lot of other locations around the area.?

    1. ?There were trees planted in front of the huge retaining wall on the Magnolia side.? Someone killed them off a while ago.

      1. Correct. The property owner did so as the trees were beginning to block views. That wall hasn’t been tagged for 2-3 years. The wall I mentioned is on Queen Anne Hill directly across from Magnolia Bridge and half way to the top of the hill. Fortunately, trees are growing quickly and it soon will not be visible.

  2. Yes……where are the villains? They need to be cleaning up their own mess. I find it hard to believe that we just casually go out and clean up somebody elses illegal activity. What does responsibility mean these days?????

  3. If anyone decides to organize a group for a graffitti covering painting party, please post the details in this thread, so we can come out and assist, thank you!
