Cowgirls, tell your fellers to giddy-up for a chuck wagon feast at the Magnolia Community Center for only $65 a cowhand. Catered grub served ?family style? is promised along with no-host cocktails, beer and wine. Leave the youngins at home with the kin folk, this is a party for cowboys and cowgirls of a certain age.
You?ll be kickin? up your heels with music from Magnolia?s own American Standard who promise a hoe down that’s sure to bring the sheriff.
Doors open at 5p.m. with the auction beginning at 7:30. It?s all hosted by guest emcee and good-lookin? cowpoke, Brad Goode from KING 5 Morning News.
You might want to mosey over to the Blaine Office right quick and get tickets from the lead boss. Last year the event was a sell out. Ask to sit with your amigos or roll the dice and take a chance.
Speakin? of last year, the auction raised $125,000 for the doodads the kids need for good learnin?. This is just one fine round up. They?re hankerin? for donations. If you can help out, or for more information get ahold of that fine PTA lassie, Jill at degreenfamily@comcast.net. Head ?em up. Move ?em out!
