Opening day celebrations at the Magnolia Farmer’s Market include live music by local musician Tom Rawson and free cooking demos with nationally recognized chef Tamara Murphy. The market will now be located at 33rd Ave West and West McGraw. It opens at 10a.m. on Saturday (6/18) and runs until 2p.m.
Chef Murphy will be at Dish It Up at 11a.m. giving market shoppers ideas for cooking with local farm-fresh, seasonal ingredients. She will demonstrate how she prepares dishes using what’s available now at the market. Murphy will also be signing copies of her new cookbook that features Puget Sound farms and farm products.
