Veterans Day, November 11th, Magnolia Service lead by the American Legion Post 123, Magnolia and the Cub Scouts Pack 80, Magnolia
Coordinator Elizabeth Servey says all veterans, scouts and neighbors are invited to join as we celebrate those who have served our country. Here is what to expect in the Village tomorrow:
9-945am: Service project ?those interested will clean up the side walk and put US flags in Magnolia village
?Bring or make thank you cards for veterans. (Supplies will be provided)
?Bring your extra Halloween candy to be given to veterans at VA hospital
?Those who can please bring gloves and or rake/brooms and or bags for leaves/street clean up
10-1015am: Raising of the US flag at the post office and a short speech about Veterans Day.
All events for will take place on the sidewalks and NOT on the street. Use cross walks when cross the street! Afterwards the Servey’s will give any collected cards and candy to veterans at VA hospital.
