A Magnolia man was arrested Monday night for allegedly setting several cars ablaze including a Seattle Police cruiser.
SPD says they rolled up at the 2500 block of 24th?Avenue West to find Philip Schloredt allegedly pouring a flammable liquid on a vehicle?and lighting it on fire. Then they say he threw an object at them catching a patrol car and three other vehicles on fire. He then fled on foot.
Railroad employees saw Schloredt run across the tracks and hide in some brush. Police were called who then found and arrested the?suspect, according to a report from KOMO 4 News.
The 55-year-old Schloredt was booked into King County Jail for investigation of arson and assault.
