Oliver’s Twist, the Village restaurant for sale on Craig’s List for some time, has a new incarnation. After a minor remodel is completed, the place becomes Yume, a sushi and craft cocktail establishment, according to published sources.
The new restaurant, which name translates to “dreaming,” is the dream of chef JP Kim, currently of Shiku in Ballard. Chef Kim’s wife, Mandy Kim, will be in charge of the operation at Yume.
Awaiting approval by the Liquor Board, Yume’s 36-seat location at 3217 W. McGraw Street will cater to families, unlike Oliver’s Twist which was 21+. No word on an opening date.
Welcome and best of luck to the new venture.
