Your turn at next safety meeting

The last time the Neighborhood Safety Alliance met it was an emotionally charged affair which did not allow any input from the 350 people in attendance, save for the few individuals selected in advance. The Alliance had a schedule and an agenda, and they stuck with them. Judging by the outbursts from the crowd, some were not happy. Now the neighbors ? sans pitchforks ? get to speak.
The date of the next safety meeting is January 28th, in Gwinn Commons (third floor), at Seattle Pacific University. Organizers have announced?a starting time of 6:30 p.m. with the promise that attendees will be allowed to address their concerns.
?We will be asking the city for an update from our January 6 meeting,? says Cindy Pierce, leader of the Alliance. ?And also allowing the public to speak. Should be good.?
