Since our earlier story, a witness has come forward. Magnolia Voice reader “Joe” heard the shots fired Saturday morning as he walked his dog along 36th Ave W and Government Way. Directly afterward, while standing at a crosswalk, according to Joe, a brown pickup truck drove past with the windows down. It smelled of gun powder. Joe says he is a military veteran who also worked at the King County jail. He is familiar with the smell of gun powder.
Joe states the truck appeared to be a 1990 brown Ford pickup truck with a long bed. The occupants were two white males, 30-40 years of age with long hair and were wearing baseball caps.
If you know these men, call the Seattle Police Department.
Thanks to Joe for his observations.
