Celebrate your freedom to read at the Magnolia Public Library?s Banned Books Story Time!
Banned Books Week is September 21-27th; an opportunity for libraries to highlight books that have been challenged and/or banned in schools, libraries and communities across the country. Find out why some classic picture books like Sylvester and the Magic Pebble and The Giving Tree have been challenged, and hear some great stories and poems at this fun story time event for families. The story time is best for families with kids ages 5-8, but all families are invited.
Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
