There are currently six cop cars on 31st Ave W, just south of Dravus. Only two officers are in a car and they said they are checking the premises (or perimeter ?) for the block, but wouldn’t comment further.

I was there when they pulled up. They all drew their guns out in a huge rush on a man driving a black car. It took him some time to get out of his car and they were shouting a lot. After they got him in handcuffs, they talked to him a lot and eventually called for an ambulance to pick him up. No idea why though.
That is a Seattle Police car, but it is one of the new cars that they are testing from Ford or Chevrolet. It’s got generic cop paint on it since it’s provided by the manufacturer for trials. Both Ford and Chevy have new purpose-built police vehicles for sale now, and it looks like SPD is evaluating them to replace the Crown Vics they have currently. The Crown Vic is being discontinued.
The black cop car is a “crisis intervention” cop car. They were on our street first before moving to Magnolia Village. We still don’t know what happened. Does anyone know yet?
