It seems last night was busy for law breakers all over the city.? We received this email from an anonymous tipster?on Magnolia Way West:
We have had two break ins over the last couple of weeks. Two weeks or so back one house had been ransacked while the owner was at work.
Last night a blonde girl in her late twenties early thirties knocked on our door asking for someone we had never heard of, then went next door and asked to use the phone the next house was nobody home and was broken into.
The perfect night to break in to home the police are busy downtown with protesters and unable to respond to a home robbery.
The young blonde also stopped by our house on Magnolia Way West last night. She said she was looking for a 30 year old girlfriend. She mentioned the friend’s name and it happens to be the same as my wife’s. I just googled the name and found a listing for a 30 year old by that same name living in South Seattle. So this may have been an honest mistake — or not. Please don’t post the “friend’s” name online, but are the initials DM? Did you mean in your post that the house next door was broken into when the girl went to use the phone there?
That was not even close to the name she used at our house the people next door were home but the one passed that was out and on there return found there house had been entered but as of this morning nothing was missing and the back door was open as maybe they scared them off before they could take anything luckily

Thank you. That puts an end to the idea of an honest mistake. I should add that I just received an email from my neighbor, also on Magnolia Way W, who said a guy knocked on their door a few weeks ago also saying he was looking for a friend.
