Interbay Urban Center (IUC) is partnering with the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Seattle Humane?Society to host the ?Pet Adopt-a-thon!?,? this Saturday, at the Interbay Urban Center (1827 15th Ave. W. near Whole Foods), from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tons of cats and dogs from both the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Seattle Humane Society?s MaxMobile will be?ready to take home.
If you make a love connection and?decide to adopt on Saturday, you will get a?break on some of the costs-?Seattle Animal Shelter cats over 6 months old are free, and kittens are adopt two for the price of one ( Licensing fees may apply). A single kitten adoption ranges from $157 to $162, and?from $82 to $237 for dogs, and includes:
Initial vaccinations
Deworming
Feline Leukemia testing (for cats)
Certificate for free health exam at local veterinarians
Spay or neuter
Microchip
Seattle Pet License (if?applicable)
