Bartell Drugs’ tradition of helping to fight hunger in the Puget Sound area continues with “Bartell’s Community Food Drive,” a new community partnership with Food Lifeline. Now through June 10, the drive focuses on replenishing local food banks in the summer months when families that normally depend on free or reduced-price school meals may struggle to provide healthy meals at home. In addition, this Friday, June 8 from 4 pm to 6 pm, Bartell’s Magnolia store will be the site of a major food donation event. Bring your kids and a nonperishable food or personal item to donate. The My ID Club will be on-site making ID’s for kids during the event.
Donations can be made at all 58 Bartells locations in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The Magnolia store is located at 2222 32nd Ave. W, Seattle. For donation ideas and for more information click here.
