Dear friends, we just talked to the lead surgeon and he is finished. The surgery was tough but successful and he is positive about what they were able to accomplish today in de-bulking the tumors. Right now the team is working on closing her head with a free-flap (skin graft) which will seal the wound. All for now, updates to come tomorrow. Thank you for everything today!
Magnolia resident?and local TV personality Kathi Goertzen will have yet another surgery on Wednesday to remove parts of an aggressive brain tumor she has been battling for more than a decade.??
“Doctor saw some tumor growth so wants to do surgery.. again! Will keep you posted …really appreciate your good thoughts and prayers.” Kathi wrote recently on her Facebook page.
