Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Susan Enfield, School Board Director Michael DeBell and state Rep. Reuven Carlyle will host a question and answer session on the state of the Seattle School District at Coe Elementary School in Queen Anne, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5. Coe is at 2424 Seventh Ave. W. Catharine Blaine K-8 is a co-sponsor of the event. Parents, students and all concerned neighbors are encouraged to attend.

Unfortunately, my wife and I are not able to attend. I would be curious to learn about any plans the district may have for the closed Magnolia School on 28th Ave W.
