Hundreds of hikers, trailers, bird watchers and revelers of the outdoors took advantage of the spectacular weather over the weekend, weather that while crisp, afforded unobstructed views of the ferry dotted Puget Sound and snowy capped Olympics. One of the more compelling views that had families stop and stare (some with cameras and even telescopes) was a bald eagle which was perched on a bare madrona above the beach on the park’s southern tip.
