Ridge soaring on the bluff

Resident photog Eric Stern was ready to catch the wheeling seagulls and possibly eagles known to nest along Magnolia’s bluff. Instead he saw birds of a different sort Sunday.

Two paragliders were soaring over the ridge of the bluff and captured the curiosity of onlookers. No sign of eagles or seagulls. Maybe they were intimidated. Thanks for the photos, Eric!
