Got this message from Tyler who was the victim of a theft overnight.
I wanted to provide you with a tip of a wheel and tire theft last night in Magnolia. My girlfriend’s car was parked in the gravel area off of 20th Ave, south of the intersection with Dravus. When we came out at 5:30am this morning for her to go to work, we saw that her Ford Escape was up on blocks and someone had stolen her rear two wheels and tires. It looks like they tried to steal a third (the front passenger) but couldn’t get it fully off. We’re lucky about that since it doesn’t appear that they were prepared to put a block beneath the axel on that particular one. Her car was the closest car to the busy intersection. If anyone has information or saw anything last night, it would be extremely helpful and they can email me at tpaytas@gmail.com.
I was hoping to spread the word so that others could avoid similar ordeals.

That is pretty bad.? I wonder if there is any way to ‘lock’ tires on a car so they can’t be stolen.
