There are two meetings this week for Magnolia residents to learn more about the plans to design and build an underground storage tank in the Smith Cove Park/West Yard area area south of the Magnolia Bridge. This facility will store about 1.8 million gallons of peak flows when the South Magnolia trunk line reaches maximum capacity.
King County Wastewater Treatment Division is holding two meetings for project neighbors prior to geotechnical investigation work that will begin in September. Staff will be on hand to discuss the project elements, answer questions and address concerns. The meetings are focused on the needs of people living near the area but they are open to all Magnolia residents.
The meetings are set for Wednesday (8/17) from 6:30 -8:00 p.m.
at Magnolia Park at 1461 Magnolia Boulevard West by the play area and on Thursday (8/18) from 6:30 ? 7:30 p.m. at 32nd Avenue West Street End
