Our Seattle Animal Shelter featured pet this week is Ms. Twiggy, a mellow, easy-going girl who loves to be brushed and to have her chin scratched. She has been at the shelter since February, patiently waiting for someone to adopt her. She is 8 years young. Keep in mind that well-cared-for indoor cats can live to be 16-20+ years old, and you will see that Ms. Twiggy still has many good years ahead of her.
Although she has spent all of these months in a cage, she still keeps up with her grooming, greets visitors in a friendly fashion, and has not given up hope of finding her forever home. Perhaps you’ve been thinking how pleasant it would be to share your home with a sweet, low-maintenance companion like Ms. Twiggy.
