Our news partners at The Seattle Times had a nice write up on Magnolia’s Mulleady’s Irish Pub today. Reporter Tan Vinh wrote about Happy Hour at Mulleady’s, praising owner Travis Stanley-Jones.
“His drink menu features craft cocktails, including two of the finest drinks to come out of the cocktail dens of New York City in recent years: the Trinidad Sour and the Oxacan Old-Fashioned. His Negronis are aged for nine weeks in oak barrels, like whiskey, for a smoother, deeper finish.
Barrel-aged cocktails are the rage these days. Mulleady’s is a pub at heart, though, with craft beers on tap and a lot of alcohol sponges: mac-and-cheese with braised oxtail, deep-fried risotto balls, poutine fries drenched in gravy made with bacon fat and duck stock.”
