Vixen is having a trunk show for Stella & Dot to show off the spring line of this new jewelry company. Magnolia Stella & Dot Star Stylist Jane O?Neal wants you to be among the first to see the brand new line at a Vixen on Friday (1/14) from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
UPDATE: Vixen wanted us to clarify that they will actually be open all day on Saturday (1/22) while they prepare for their new look.
Also, Vixen shoppers should note that the store will be closed on Saturday (1/22) for a remodel. They will open Monday (1/24) with a whole new look.

If you are looking for a spot to watch the Seahawks playoff game on Sunday, check out the Magnolia Village Pub. They are open at 9a.m. for breakfast before kickoff at 10a.m. Specials for the big game include $5 Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. Drop by to meet the Pub?s new owner Joel Stedman.

Magnolia resident and the owner of Where Ya At Matt food truck is getting rave reviews for his creole food. If you want to learn how to serve up great food like Matt, check out his two part cooking class at Magnolia?s Dish it up! starting Sunday, January 30 and ending Sunday, February 13th at Dish.
Pork Out!
Bill the Butcher is offering a free demo on the wonder of pork at their Magnolia location. Butcher & Chef Barry will demonstrate breaking down a whole hog with special emphasis on the cuts to utilize in making sausage, ham and bacon. The class is set for Friday, February 4 from 7 to 8p.m. at 3800 34th Ave West. The class is free, but space is limited. Call the shop at 206.829.9741 or stop in to register.
bill the butcher has some great people working in the magnolia location. they are a little spendy, but really worth it. i could live on their meatloaf alone.
