On Saturday,?the Magnolia Mudsharks won their second straight Seattle Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) City Tournament championship with a solid 3?1 victory over a very talented Ballard Bolt team.? The win capped off another?great year for the boys from the Bluff, which included a solid 8-1-1 record during the regular season.

Led by first-year head coach Brian Keaton, and his assistant, Yarrow Banko, the Mudsharks marched through the City Tournament with a solid 4 -1 record, while outscoring their opponents, twenty to eight.

Saturday?s win was a repeat of the 2014 final when the Mudsharks also beat the Bolt. ?And it? also reversed? the Bolt?s 5?3 victory over the Mudsharks a week earlier.
