The Nook for Sale?

?
It?s tough to keep a secret these days, especially when you place an ad on Craigslist. Even taking into consideration a denial by the real estate agent, it seems one can deduce the spot in the Village called The Nook?might be?for sale.
Size up this description:
?Character filled space with wood floors, high ceilings and a large skylight…seating capacity for 32 + sidewalk seating….? ?Check, check, and check.
The ad goes on to say the restaurant is equipped with a license to sell hard liquor, ?? In the heart of Magnolia.? Double check.
It indicates the business is being offered for $80,000 with a rental rate of $1,375 plus an additional $325 per month for taxes, insurance, and maintenance (NNN).
So if you?re looking for a cute little place in the Village for sale, this might be the one you seek. Either that or this reporter can?t read the jumbo tea leaves on Craigslist.
A message left for the owners was not immediately returned.

  1. When you walk in, the Nook’s bar is on the right not the left (as
pictured in the Cragislist ad). So if that’s the Nook, that’s a very old
picture or something. The bar top is dark wood inside, not that marble
looking stuff in the ad pic.
