Magnolia girls, grades 2-8 are invited to join the girls’ lacrosse program which is now recruiting players for 2013 teams. Girls’ lacrosse is fast-paced and finesse-driven with plenty of opportunity to run and enjoy the excitement of this action-packed game.

The sport builds endurance, enhances teamwork, and teaches sportsmanship – helping girls both on and off the field.

Queen Anne Quick Styx, the lacrosse team for the Magnolia area, invites girls with or without experience to join. Practices are at the Queen Anne Bowl, up the hill from Seattle Pacific University.

There is some equipment to buy, such as a lacrosse stick, goggles, and a mouth guard. Fees are $50 and up, depending on the program level. The season begins Feb. 27.

Registration ends soon. Send questions to: bergerongeorge@hotmail.com
