Magnolia residents have submitted neighborhood enhancement ideas for Umpqua Bank’s Build Your Block Challenge, and three finalists have been selected:

Magnolia P-Patch Tool Shed and Supplies-The new Magnolia P-Patch being developed on 28th Avenue West will be enhanced through the construction of a secure tool shed and the provision of basic garden tools.

Public Art and Seating Area at 32nd and McGraw- Umpqua will work to add benches, planter boxes and public art on the SW corner of 32nd and McGraw that would give neighbors an area to spend time together.

?Welcome to Magnolia? Signage Beautification-Funds will be used to provide more attractive and eye-catching entry into Magnolia through enhanced landscaping and revised signage.

Now is the time to vote for the?idea you?d like to see funded by clicking?here through March 30th. The winning project will be announced on April 2, and will be awarded $10,000 and the man power to make it happen.

  1. I don’t want to join Facebook to vote, but I’d choose the public art at McGraw option.

  2. Why does the voting require Facebook? I’d love to see nicer signs when you enter Magnolia.
