Job skill workshop for seniors

Magnolia seniors who want to stay busy may want to look into the City of Seatle?s Job Search Workshop.
The program is sponsored by the Mayor?s Office for Senior Citizens and will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the first-floor conference room of the Central building at 810 Third Ave.
A job counselor will be there to talk about ways to network, touch-up resumes and cover letters and develop interviewing techniques. Also on the docket is Beverly Kashino, the human resources director at the YMCA who will talk about working at nonprofits. Register by contacting Joan Uzelak at joan.uzelak@seattle.gov.
